From 544a1f02eb3d4b7486e2f0fc2b1431f7baaeb9b1 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: EthanHealy01 Date: Mon, 13 Jul 2026 15:08:03 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] feat(lint): enforce zero hardcoded colour across all source CSS MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Add a blocking 'css-colors' mode to theme-lint that flags any hardcoded colour in source .css under editor/src (primitives.css + generated output.css exempt). File list is sourced from 'git ls-files' rather than a directory walk, so there's no readdir→readFile path; comments and structural black/white/transparent are ignored. Wired into 'task frontend:lint:colors'. Update theme README + script header for the expanded palette and the now app-wide enforcement. --- .taskfiles/frontend.yml | 3 +- frontend/editor/scripts/lint/theme-lint.mjs | 83 +++++++++++++++++++-- frontend/editor/src/core/theme/README.md | 21 +++--- 3 files changed, 91 insertions(+), 16 deletions(-) diff --git a/.taskfiles/frontend.yml b/.taskfiles/frontend.yml index 35b387025a..a6851ab9f0 100644 --- a/.taskfiles/frontend.yml +++ b/.taskfiles/frontend.yml @@ -206,10 +206,11 @@ tasks: - task: lint:colors lint:colors: - desc: "Enforce theme tokens — colours in core/theme route through the palette" + desc: "Enforce theme tokens — all CSS colours route through the palette" deps: [install] cmds: - node editor/scripts/lint/theme-lint.mjs + - node editor/scripts/lint/theme-lint.mjs css-colors contrast: desc: "Report low-contrast theme token pairs (warning only, never blocks)" diff --git a/frontend/editor/scripts/lint/theme-lint.mjs b/frontend/editor/scripts/lint/theme-lint.mjs index c63b68db36..42531f36ce 100644 --- a/frontend/editor/scripts/lint/theme-lint.mjs +++ b/frontend/editor/scripts/lint/theme-lint.mjs @@ -4,16 +4,16 @@ // node theme-lint.mjs enforce: literal colours live ONLY in // primitives.css; colors/dimensions must // reference tokens; no duplicate primitives. -// (blocking) +// Scope: core/theme/.
