This makes it explicit at compile-time that these fields should not be
reassigned outside the constructor.

BlueBlock 29a1a7c618 fix stop after the current file 
'stop after upload' is now
stop after the current file' and the operation will cleanly allow the current file to complete.

Kenneth Hsu 03b08d7ae3 Write unwrapped exception message to JSON. 
While the original intent was likely to write a more meaningful message
to JSON, the previous implementation unwrapped the
TargetInvocationException but neglected to use the unwrapped Exception.

William Osler 0e3a291c74 Tweak captcha generation code 
Introduces a few changes to the code to generate captchas. Font size
calculations are now done in pixels for consistency, and the width of
the image is estimated from the width of the text being printed. Also
fixes #2965.

Made the logger slightly more robust in case of failures.

Kenneth Hsu 3ff485c0c1 Extract code that imports backup to separate method. 
This reduces the amount of logic in the ConfigurationImporter program
and will allow us to write tests to verify its behavior.

Empty finally blocks serve no purpose.  In cases where no exceptions are
caught, we removed the try as well.
