apps/photocraft/src/services.rs: OPEN_EXTS kept main's list and added dcm, dicom, dc3 after cin.
Main moved on (integration batch #8095 and others). Two conflicts:
- docs/gaps.md revision history: both rows kept, newest first.
- docs/scorecard.md (generated): main's version taken. It needs
`cargo xtask scorecard` again: with FILE-215-19 done, File
compatibility reads 8 done / 5 missing rather than main's 7 / 6.

Main added DDS saving (#5993): DDS Options, and FormatChoices carrying the
Targa and DDS answers through every save path (this branch's SaveChoices
carried Targa and JPEG). Resolved by keeping main's name and making it
the one struct for all three answers.
- lib.rs: FormatChoices { tga_bits, dds, jpeg } with from_params (strict),
from_step (lenient JPEG read of a recorded step), apply and record;
main's separate block is folded in. Both prompts (dds_options and
jpeg_options) are kept everywhere: save_to asks Targa, then DDS, then
JPEG Options; save_options_open covers all four. save_in_place takes
main's (path, choices) signature and records the plain-Save step with
plain_save_step for JPEG plus the Targa/DDS answers (save_in_place_with
folded into it). journal_as_plain_save relabels a parked Targa, DDS or
JPEG prompt and keeps tgaBits/dds*/quality/jpegFormat when dropping the
path. replay_save reads choices with from_step.
- SAVE_OPTIONS_OPEN names all four prompts; DDS Options uses it too.
- targa_options_ui: main's plain-Save step (no path) through this
branch's write_answered_save. JPEG Options gets main's Enter-on-a-
focused-Cancel fix.
- view_cmds Save a Copy asks Targa, DDS, then JPEG Options; write_copy
takes FormatChoices.
- control.rs: both app.save tests (JPEG and DDS) kept.
- engine file_cmds: SaveOpts keeps jpeg_format and dds; param docs list
both jpegFormat and ddsCompression/ddsMipmaps. CLI: both --jpeg-format
and --dds-compression/--dds-mipmaps. codecs re-exports JpegFormat and
DdsCompression/DdsOptions.
- docs/book: both entries kept (control-protocol app.save lists both).

DDS textures can now be saved, not just opened: uncompressed (BGRA, BGRX, L8, A8L8; lossless) or BC1/BC2/BC3 (DXT1/3/5) from a clean-room block encoder, with an optional box-filtered mip chain, in the legacy header. Save As and Save a Copy ask with DDS Options; scripts pass `ddsCompression`/`ddsMipmaps` (file commands, control `app.save`, RPC `doc.save`, MCP `doc_save`/`doc_export`), and the CLI takes `--dds-compression`/`--dds-mipmaps`. Targa and DDS answers travel together as `FormatChoices` through the Save As flow.
Review follow-ups:
- File › Save behind DDS or Targa Options records a plain Save with its answer, and replaying `file.save` applies it (#3531).
- The block encoder finds the principal axis from every channel, so a channel that varies on its own can't hide the others' variation.
- DDS joins the shared round-trip suite; the header is built before the output buffer is allocated.
- Enter on a focused Cancel in DDS, Targa or TIFF Options cancels instead of saving.
Save As and Save a Copy to a JPEG now ask for JPEG Options before writing,
as Photoshop does. Re-creates #4330 on current main and folds in the
unique parts of #5580 (#5563).
- codecs: `JpegFormat` (Baseline, Optimized, Progressive) on
`EncodeOptions`. Progressive writes SOF2. Baseline Optimized fits the
Huffman tables only at 4:4:4 (Gray, CMYK) or with Progressive: fitted
tables make the baseline scans non-interleaved, which zune-jpeg 0.5.15
decodes wrongly with 4:2:0 chroma (zune-image#419), as Save for Web
already works around.
- engine: a `jpegFormat` save param (file.saveACopy, Batch, Image
Processor, Layers to Files and every SaveOpts user; anything but the
three names is BadParams before writing) and a shared 0–12 -> 1–100
`jpeg_quality()` that maps NaN/inf to 100.
- ui-egui: `jpeg_options_ui` (Quality 0–12 with Low/Medium/High/Maximum
presets, Format Options), parked like Targa Options. It starts at the
opened JPEG's own quality (`file_encoding`, #4032), else the Export
preference; left there, OK writes that quality exactly and the step
records no `quality`. `SaveChoices` (Targa bits + JPEG) replaces the
bare `tga_bits` through file.save / file.saveAs / app.save, replay and
Save a Copy; automation never prompts. `write_answered_save` is shared
with Targa Options. `park_at` + `Start` let any save seed the prompt.
A File › Save that confirms the document's own flat JPEG is still
journalled as a plain `file.save` (#3531).
- CLI: `--jpeg-format`.
- i18n: five new strings in all 20 catalogs (#4330's duplicate de/es/zh
`Low`/`High` rows dropped: main has them since #4008).
- Docs: book raster-formats JPEG bullet, control protocol, file-format
parity, gaps G10, target-app parity; scorecard FILE-215-19 done.

Both sTER modes describe side-by-side subimages: mode 0 is cross-fuse (right eye first), and mode 1 is diverging-fuse (left eye first). Correct the enum and document comments without changing their serialized byte values. Add a labelled-pixel check against the literal mode bytes in PNG Extensions 1.4.0 section 3.6.

* PNG: keep a stereo file's sTER pairing on save (#6063)
Read the sTER chunk (PNG Extensions 1.4.0 §3.6) when a PNG opens, store it
on the document's FileEncoding, and write it back when saving, so a stereo
PNG still says it is a stereo pair. Covers the ordinary and the palette
PNG encoders, including interlaced output.
* io tests: pass the new sTER argument to encode_png_indexed

The image crate's Targa encoder let run-length packets run on from the end of
one row into the next. TGA 2.0 says a packet must not cross a scanline, and
readers that decode a row at a time misread such files: Pillow fails on them
with "buffer overrun", and texture tools and game engines reject them.
Targa is now written by our own encoder (codecs::tga), as Photoshop writes
it: RLE true colour or grayscale, every packet within its row, rows stored
bottom-up (the origin readers that ignore the descriptor assume), the alpha
bits in the descriptor and the TGA 2.0 footer. Reading stays with the image
crate.
The colr nclx primaries and transfer were dropped, so a 10-bit BT.2020 HLG
HEIC opened as if its samples were sRGB. photocraft-heif now returns the
nclx (inherited from grid tiles like the ICC profile), codecs decodes PQ and
HLG to linear light in 32-bit float (BT.2100 inverse OETF + OOTF at 1000
cd/m2, 203 cd/m2 diffuse white = 1.0), and io tags the document with the
matching profile from the new photocraft_cms::builtin::cicp_rgb. BT.709/sRGB
SDR files are unchanged.

* Check deep EXR tile count tables against max_alloc
A deep tile's sample-count table was decompressed at the header's full tile size with no
budget check, so a 20 KB file could build a 4 MiB table and a scratch copy under a 1 MiB
max_alloc. Try that size only when max_alloc has room for both; otherwise read the clipped size.
Fixes#4958.

* Keep deep EXR decompression within the size it was admitted at
The count-table check admits the table and its scratch copy, 2x the table, but Vec doubling
gave a 4 MiB ZIPS table 8 MiB of capacity (a 3 MiB RLE table 4 MiB), so an admitted table
and its copy could take 3x. Grow the decompressed buffer by doubling capped at the expected
size, inflating straight into it, and allocate it and the scratch copy fallibly.
Tests: decompressed buffers never reserve past the expected size; a near-maximal tile with a
clipped table decodes under every budget; per-tile admission; half and uint channels after
full-size tables; the 8 MiB boundary for uncompressed tables too.
Refs #4958.

* Tests: show deep tile tables are admitted one tile at a time
The 17x17 image in 16x16 tiles had an interior tile, which never reaches the max_alloc check,
so only three edge tables (6 KiB) were checked against the 8000-byte budget and a check that
summed admissions across tiles still passed. Use a 48x1 image instead: its three tiles are all
edge tiles, and under 4096 bytes a summed check fails at the third tile.
Refs #4958.

* Complete deep EXR count-table allocation admission
Account for scratch space on clipped and interior compressed tables while preserving raw-table budgets. Borrow packed input before admission and make initial RLE reservations and raw copies fallible.
Add single-channel admission boundaries, raw fallback controls, and hostile-size borrowed-read regressions.
* ci: run deep EXR regressions independently
* Drop the separate deep EXR CI job
It was added so these tests could run while main's workspace suite was
failing. Main is green again, and the regular test jobs run them.
This reverts commit 5aa4869b45.

Write Kodak Cineon 4.5: the 1024-byte generic header (V4.5, one or three
channels designated gray or R/G/B, 10 bits, code values 0-1023 over
densities 0-2.048) and a 1024-byte film header left undefined, then the
samples three to a big-endian 32-bit word, left justified (packing 5),
lines on a word boundary. Samples are written as round(v * 1023 / 65535),
so a frame opened from Cineon saves back with its code values; other
images take the encode plan (alpha dropped, CMYK and Lab to RGB) and are
quantized to 10 bits.
Cineon leaves ASYMMETRIC_EXCEPTIONS, Save As offers .cin, and the codecs
README, file-format parity and G10 are updated.
