Otherwise, the results will have a lazy loaded enumerable containing a hook into a disposed database, leading to errors when trying to do anything with the results.

A lot of the SELECT SQL queries don't have to commit. Especially not the ones returning an IAsyncEnumerable as that can leave a query execution as open, while the transaction is committed elsewhere.
